Free Tax preparation in the Phillips neighborhoods

Get your taxes prepared for free by an IRS-certified volunteer tax preparer. Hope Community Center is partnering with AccountAbility Minnesota, a nonprofit organization, to offer free tax preparation and financial services. Individuals whose income is $30,000 or less and families with incomes $50,000 or less and self-employed individuals with household incomes of $50,000 or less are eligible.
In addition to free tax prep, AccountAbility Minnesota also offers financial services to help taxpayers make the most of tax time. Financial services provided include savings accounts, prepaid debit cards, free credit reports, benefits screening and one-on-one financial planning.
Free tax preparation is provided at Hope Community Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. January 24 through April 17, 2012.
